Contact support

For general enquiries, technical assistance, or account help, email our team:

Email connect@myhuman.dog

We answer by email, and we aim to reply within 5 business days. Write from the email address on your account if you can, so we can find it.

What to put in your message

  • what you were trying to do, and what happened instead;
  • where it happened: the page address, or the screen in the app;
  • your device: for the iPhone app, your iPhone model, iOS version and the app version; on the web, your browser;
  • roughly when it happened, and a screenshot if you have one;
  • your dog's name, if the question is about a dog.

Never send us your password, a sign-in or verification code, or a recovery code. We will never ask for them.

Getting started

  • Create an account at myhuman.dog/signup. You need to be 18 or older.
  • Add your first dog. A microchip number helps, but you can add a dog without one and add it later.
  • Bring in your dog's history: add events and reminders, and upload documents to the Vault.
  • Invite a co-owner or carer when you are ready, so the people who help with your dog see what they need.

Signing in

Dog owners sign in at myhuman.dog/signin with your email or username and password, with a passkey, or with Google. If you turned on two-step verification, you also enter a code from your authenticator app, or one of your recovery codes. If you created your account with Apple in the iPhone app, sign in there.

Care-centre staff sign in at myhuman.dog/care-centre/login, not on the owner sign-in page. Your practice's administrator manages your access, so ask them first if your account is locked or your role is wrong.

If you are having trouble signing in to your account:

  • Forgotten your password or username? Recover your account to get a reset code or a username reminder by email.
  • Ensure you are entering the email address associated with your existing account.
  • Check your internet connection, and if you use the iPhone app, make sure it is up to date.
  • If you need assistance with account access, please email connect@myhuman.dog from your registered email address.

Myhuman.dog iPhone app

  • The iPhone app provides access to your active Myhuman.dog account.
  • The app needs an internet connection to load and synchronise your dog records.
  • If a screen does not load, close and reopen the app, check your connection, and make sure you are running the latest version from the App Store.
  • The app asks for the camera only when you choose to photograph a document, and for notifications only if you want reminders. You can change both in your iPhone's Settings.
  • To report a problem with the app, email us and include your iPhone model, iOS version, and what you were doing when the issue occurred.

AI features (Woof Intelligence)

Woof Intelligence, report reading and health insights use an AI provider, OpenAI. Nothing is sent until you allow it: the first time you reach one of these features you are asked, and you can turn them off at any time in your Account settings. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what each feature sends.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, without writing to us:

  • In the iPhone app: open Account and choose Delete account. It brings you to the page below.
  • On the web: go to myhuman.dog/account/delete, sign in the way you usually do, and confirm.

Deletion starts straight away. You are signed out on every device, we email you to confirm, and it is complete within about 10 minutes. It cannot be undone.

What happens to your information: your account and personal details are removed. A dog only you own loses its name, photo and microchip, and its health records are kept without them. A dog you share stays with its other owner. Security and audit records are kept where the law requires. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is deleted and what is kept.

If your account is linked to a Lost & Found report, the page will ask you to email us, and we will delete it with you.

Before you delete, you may want to download your data (below) and any documents you want to keep.

Downloading your data

In your profile on the web, choose Download your data. You get one file (JSON) with your profile, contacts, vet clinics and every dog's records, usually within a day, and we email you when it is ready. The download is available for 15 hours. It lists your documents but does not include the files themselves; download those from the Vault.

Privacy requests

To ask what information we hold about you, to correct something you cannot change yourself, or to make a privacy complaint, email connect@myhuman.dog with "Privacy" in the subject, from the email address on your account. We may need to confirm who you are first. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle requests and complaints.

Reporting a problem or something unsafe

  • A problem with the site or app: email us with the details listed under "What to put in your message".
  • Something wrong in your dog's record that you did not enter, or an account you think someone else has used: email us straight away, and change your password or sign out other devices in your security settings.
  • A security weakness: email us with "Security" in the subject. Please do not test it on other people's accounts.

Care centres

  • Owners: questions about a booking, such as times, cancellations or what to bring, are best answered by the practice; message them from your booking. Email us if something on Myhuman.dog itself is not working.
  • Practice staff: sign in at myhuman.dog/care-centre/login. Your practice's administrator manages staff access.
  • Practices interested in CareCentre: email Partnerships@myhuman.dog.

Lost & Found safety

Find My Human is not open yet. When it opens, these rules will keep people and animals safe:

  • Never pay anyone to return an animal, and never share a code someone sends you.
  • Report suspicious messages with "Report this conversation".
  • Where you can, hand a found animal over at a vet clinic, which can scan its microchip.
  • If an animal is injured or in danger, contact a vet or your local council immediately.
  • The full rules are in our Terms.
